3G-SDI Passive Splitter
The WS275B-12R is a 12-channel, 1RU rack mounting unit, that is used as a 3G-SDI passive splitter. All connections are on the rear of the unit.
Due to its wideband design the unit is also compatible with SD-SDI, HD-SDI and ASI digital video signals. It can also be used in AES3 and MADI digital audio applications.

The Proton WS275B 3G-SDI Passive Splitter conveniently splits a single source into two signals for distribution with minimal loss. Since it is a passive device there is no requirement for power.
The WS275B-12R 3G-SDI Passive Splitter has been designed with reliability at the forefront for critical applications. The 3G-SDI Passive Splitter is fault tolerant due to the high isolation between the outputs, this allows an open-circuit, short-circuit or incorrect termination on one output to have almost no effect on the quality of the remaining output. This complex transformer arrangement also minimizes output and insertion losses and therefore outperforms simple resistor splitters.
The WS275B-12R 3G-SDI Passive Splitter support all of the SMPTE and AES transmission rates between 1Mb/s and 2.97Gb/s and is therefore compatible with all digital video ASI and SDI formats including 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI along with both AES3 and MADI digital audio formats, and offers a cost effective alternative to powered distribution amplifiers. The WS275B-12A is housed in a compact 1RU rack mounting unit.
